Description: <abstract>This survey records a representative sample of the rural vernacular architecture of Co. Wicklow. 147 sites were recorded on site in July to October 2007.</abstract> <purpose>An assessment of the future of the vernacular heritage of the county discusses the rapid rate of attrition and the pressing need for promotion of public awareness and understanding, better conservation practice and traditional building skills.
